Unless you got really lucky, even the guy in the Ukraine in 2001 charged you money to make the script. Probably not as much as someone in the US. So, the process after getting the script appears to be essentially cost free, I'm not aware of any method to get a script made that won't cost a dime. Now cost isn't really the big issue. It's just that I'm a pragmatic business person, and there is always a cost to get to a point where the rest of the task can be done with no further cash investment.
