NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1999--
KidsWish.com, (www.KidsWish.com), the first online gift registry exclusively for children, has inked an exclusive deal with Warner Bros. to send free "Pokemon: The First Movie" posters to anyone who creates a gift registry or `Wish List.'
Visitors to the KidsWish.com site create customized gift registries or `Wish Lists' containing selections from the many items sold on the KidsWish.com site, additional lists of items not available on the site and event information. KidsWish.com then emails the child's `Wish List' to friends and relatives.
The Pokemon promotional giveaway will be highlighted in a radio advertising campaign launching in the New York metropolitan area and Portland, Oregon, and in banner advertising on Warner Bros., MaMaMedia and several radio station's websites.
"The intense popularity of Pokemon shows no sign of subsiding in the near future," explains KidsWish, Inc. co-founder, chairman and CEO, Eran Fields. "The exclusive deal with Warner Bros. to distribute Pokemon posters is an ideal mechanism to raise awareness of the KidsWish.com registry service."
As an additional part of the deal with Warner Bros., KidsWish.com will be listed as an official sponsor of "Pokemon: The First Movie" on the WB website. As part of the sponsorship, the website will have a link to KidsWish.com and KidsWish.com will be featured on several popular Warner Bros. online properties and in newsletters including the Rosie O'Donnell weekly newsletter.
