Register.com, Inc. (www.register.com), a leading provider of global domain name registration and Internet services, today announced that Paul Pierce has joined the Company, as Director of Canadian Operations. Mr. Pierce is responsible for leading Register.com's Canadian Operations Center in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and reports directly to Alan Kipust, Senior Vice President.

Mr. Pierce brings over 30 years of operational and call center management experience. Prior to joining Register.com, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of ICT Group, where he was responsible for multiple inbound and outbound contact centers and over 2,600 employees. Previously, Mr. Pierce held senior management positions with Purolator Courier and Nielsen Marketing Research.
Register.com's Yarmouth facility opened its doors in March of 2001 and has grown from 20 customer service representatives to nearly 200 employees today, serving in a broad variety of technical, financial, support and sales functions. The Company plans to continue growing these functions in Yarmouth.
Register.com is the second largest employer in Yarmouth and is actively looking to fill several sales and management positions, as well as foreign-language and additional entry-level customer service positions in this facility.
