Two general sessions will round out the program, delving into the current state and near future of advertising and marketing.

The general sessions are:

Brand Marketing in the Attention Economy - Tuesday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Designed to articulate the new realities and language of today's consumer-driven marketing landscape, this three-part series will feature an exciting range of leading authors and executives representing the complimentary disciplines of integrated marketing communications (IMC) and customer relationship management (CRM).

As a forum for all opinions this special session will also encourage open and honest debate about the country's media, marketing and advertising industries. David Hutchinson, VP, TV Integration, The Phelps Group, will moderate the panel discussion.

Advertising's Horizon - Monday, May 24 at 4:30 p.m.

Moderated by John Battelle, Visiting Professor, UC Berkeley, this general session will focus on the increasingly splintered and heterogeneous media environment. The San Francisco program features case studies from major brands such as Coca-Cola, Oracle, Dell Inc., Disney Online, eBay, ESPN, J.P. Morgan, Maybelline, Red Envelope, VISA, TiVo and the Weather Channel.
