NAB2004
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 2004
ValueClick, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:VCLK) AdWare Systems subsidiary, a leading provider of advertising agency, media and content management solutions, today announced its first three broadcast television client wins for its Content Depot digital asset management solution: WFAA in Dallas, KLCS in Los Angeles, and WFSU in northwest Florida.
Today's announcement illustrates Content Depot's strong fit with the broadcast television market. Capable of capturing, storing and managing more than one hundred digital file formats -- including video, audio, text, HTML, photo image, and more -- Content Depot assists broadcasters with the management of their digital content, including news production, studio and post production, and archived material.
Content Depot's broadcast television wins include:
-- WFAA in Dallas, the flagship affiliate of broadcast television
station owner A.H. Belo, will deploy Content Depot as part of
an integrated video management solution. Content Depot will be
deployed through its integration with Telestream's FlipFactory
transcoding solution.
-- KLCS, the instructional television station of the Los Angeles
Unified School District, has deployed Content Depot as part of
the Los Angeles Unified School District's initiative to bring
educational content directly into the classroom via digital
television. Content Depot was deployed under the Seeker brand
name through its integration with Sundance Digital's broadcast
automation solution.
-- WFSU, a PBS broadcaster in northwest Florida, will deploy
Content Depot as part of an integrated broadcast automation,
video management and archive solution. This will enable WFSU
to store, manage and retrieve video for future use in its
broadcasting efforts. Content Depot will be deployed through
its integration with MicroFirst's broadcast automation
solution.
"We are excited that television broadcasters are beginning to recognize Content Depot's flexibility, power and ease of use for the management of their digital content," said Bill Hewitt, general manager of AdWare Systems. "Content Depot enables broadcasters to improve their digital content workflow, saving time and money and streamlining their creative and distribution processes."
