NAPA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2004
Benson Marketing Group today announced that Sean Carroll has joined the marketing agency as Public Relations Coordinator.
Carroll grew up in Napa Valley but honed his story pitching skills by generating significant editorial coverage in business, broadcast and trade outlets for his high technology clients in the challenging, post dot-com era. Carroll worked for San Francisco's Blanc and Otus, which is owned by Hill & Knowlton, one of the largest PR agencies in the world. He also worked for San Francisco's Karbo/Fonkalsrud Communications, another high-tech PR specialist. Carroll holds a BA in PR and Communications Studies from Carroll College (no relation) in Montana.
New Clients Tap PR and Direct Marketing Experience
Benson Marketing Group's client base continues to grow. Tin Barn Vineyards, an up-and-coming Sonoma specialist in Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon hired the agency to solidify its brand positioning and manage its PR campaign (www.tinbarnvineyards.com).
The Hess Collection (www.hesscollection.com) and separately, Clos LaChance Winery (www.clos.com) have both retained the agency to manage online marketing, e-commerce, and direct email marketing. The agency's E-marketing Package keeps clients' websites fresh with new content and promotions, generates online revenues, and ensures that wineries are in regular contact with their consumers via email.
J. Lohr Winery, which owns Ariel, the leading de-alcoholized wine, retained the agency to design a new website for the brand. The agency completed a new website for J. Lohr in 2003, and will create a stand-alone site for Ariel. (www.jlohr.com)
