In response to global demand, messaging and collaboration provider
introduces alternative to aging internal systems
BlueTie, Inc. announces today the launch of BlueTieSP, a wholly-owned subsidiary designed to give service providers complete, outsourced messaging and collaboration tools for their customers.
BlueTieSP provides CLEC/ILECs, wireless carriers, Website hosting companies, and domain registrars an alternative to other hosted messaging platforms, such as Critical Path or Openwave.
BlueTieSP offers a private-labeled solution which has three tiers of service customizable to fit the needs of each service provider. Service provider partners can outsource their entire messaging system to reduce costs, or utilize BlueTie's award-winning business class email and collaboration products as an up-sell opportunity beyond the basic POP mail they currently offer.
"For months, we have been approached by service providers who were interested in offering a solution like BlueTie to their customers under their own brand," said David Koretz, BlueTie President and CEO. "BlueTie now has the scalability, private-label capabilities and API's to enable a large service provider to move thousands or hundreds of thousands of mailboxes to a BlueTie-hosted solution."
BlueTie is launching a Website and nationwide marketing campaign to promote this new division. The Website at www.BlueTieSP.com will offer technical, and product information. The nationwide marketing campaign will be called, "Taking the guesswork out of the up-sell(TM)", and will promoted through trade shows, Internet advertising, and print advertising.
Putting All of the Pieces Together
Meeting the needs of service providers is a vastly different task than meeting the needs of the average small business customer. BlueTieSP provides service providers with all of the products, integration, and professional services they need to offer hosted messaging and collaboration products to their customers.
BlueTieSP offers APIs for provisioning and account management, customized migration and co-existence tools, billing and accounting integration, even marketing and Website development services; all designed to make the transition to BlueTieSP as seamless as possible.
Making Messaging Profitable for Service Providers
For years, service providers have been seeing an increase in the demand for business class email -- email that includes SPAM and virus protection and personalized domain names, as well as collaboration products. Since 1999, BlueTie has been offering these products to small and mid-sized businesses. With the launch of BlueTieSP, service providers now have the opportunity to capture revenue that may have otherwise gone to another service provider or an in-house solution.
"The key to the success of our service provider partners is differentiation; BlueTieSP gives them all of the products to differentiate themselves from the competition," said Koretz. "Our SP partners are realizing a 40% to 60% increase in average revenue per user. Enabling service providers to differentiate themselves in the competitive telecommunications market, and significantly increasing revenue is what makes BlueTieSP solutions different than other messaging products."
