Travelocity's Terrell Jones and DoubleClick's Kevin O'Connor
to Discuss Visions and Strategies for the Internet Economy
Four industry visionaries will address thousands of e-business executives at this spring's inaugural eTravelWorld in San Francisco, according to conference producer eMarketWorld.
Travelocity's President Terrell Jones and DoubleClick, Inc.'s CEO Kevin O'Connor are included in this year's dynamic keynote lineup.
eTravelWorld takes place April 17-19 at the San Francisco Marriott.
Mary Modahland, Vice President of Research for Forrester Research, will open the conference on April 17th. Modahland is a leading e-business analyst and will be discussing the growth of online travel from both the business-to-business and business-to-consumers perspectives. e-Travel visionary Terrell Jones, president of Travelocity and executive vice president of Sabre Inc., will make his keynote presentation - "The rEvolution in Travel Retail " - on April 18th. Jones has achieved tremendous success in transitioning Sabre into an online travel hub (Travelocity.com) and will share insight on issues such as Web branding, converting travel sales on the Internet, and online customer service.
Kevin O'Connor, CEO and Co-Founder of DoubleClick.Inc., will speak on April 18th and address the power on online marketing, advertising and communications. DoubleClick, which has grown from 2 to 600 employees in the last three years, is one of the leading Internet advertising companies in the world. O'Connor will specifically discuss successful elements of online marketing and how it affects the consumer.
Mary Ann Packo, President and COO of Media Metrix, will speak on April 19th. Her presentation -- "How Consumers Travel the Digital Landscape" -- will examine the role and impact of Internet usage and advertising on the entire travel industry.
