Internet Programming and Consulting, Inc. (IPC) announced today they are now live with the first Online Web site for businesses to file Form 1120/1120S U.S. Income Tax Return for Corporations at www.taxsoftware.com under the new IRS MeF (Modernized E-File) Program. The first corporate tax return prepared on an Internet web site was accepted by the IRS on February 23, 2004 at 7:20 AM.
Company spokesperson Mickey Macedo said Taxsoftware.com is the first and only service that allows over two million businesses to prepare, print, and E-File these two forms via the Internet. Forms 1120/1120S are due March 15, 2004. Taxsoftware.com charges twenty five dollars ($25.00) per return with a 50% discount for early filers before Feb 27, 2004.
The web site allows users to prepare taxes using either Java or the new Microsoft.NET J# browser controls.
