NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- In an article titled "Hollywood Robbery," in the January 26 issue of Time Magazine, writers based in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Paris, Moscow and Shanghai, stressed the need for the motion picture industry to prevent the secret video taping in theaters of movies which are then transferred to a personal computer and accessed using common file-sharing software. Time Magazine reported that, "Last year more than 50 major movies were illegally copied and released, according to the Motion Picture Association of America (M.P.A.A.)."

The Chilmark Security LLC Piracy Blocker, which can not only disarm digital piracy but has the unique ability to detect its presence in the theater, is the ideal solution to what Time Magazine stressed was the heart of the problem, "Movie executives are right to be alarmed. But it also shows that most of their protective acrobatics are, at best, just buying time. In 2002 some 41 million illegal copies of movies were seized by law-enforcement authorities around the world with assistance from the M.P.A.A. Last year the film industry made $52 billion -- but would have made $3.5 billion more if not for piracy, according to a Smith Barney estimate released in November. Next year the loss may rise to $5.4 billion." Further, the publication warned, "It would be foolish for Hollywood to ignore the grim prophecy of the music industry -- where album sales have dropped 16% since 2000."

Steve Strauss, CEO of the parent company, the Chilmark Entertainment Group (OTC Pink Sheets: CMKK) (http://www.thechilmarkgroup.com/) stated, "Chilmark Security recently retained the law firm of Roberts, Abokhair & Mardula to process the Piracy Blocker for a patent application. Filing the patent on the Piracy Blocker is an essential step in protecting the replication of the device's proprietary technology, as well as precipitating its launch in the marketplace. We have now cleared the way for Chilmark Security LLC to begin finalizing negotiations with major motion picture studios. The company intends to provide testing of the device at an upcoming pre-screening of an unreleased motion picture. After a successful testing, all indications point to the commencement of definitive contract negotiations in which we anticipate a rather rapid conclusion. The size and scope of the Piracy Blocker's niche market can create an ongoing, continuous revenue stream in significant proportions for this division of our company."

The Company

Chilmark Entertainment Group is designed to meet the challenges of the music and entertainment industry. It provides comprehensive business management, administrative and legal services, and funding for entrepreneurial affiliate-partners and projects engaged in various facets of music and music- related businesses.
