AdText Image Creator Review, Adwords Clicks For Pennies ($100 Discount)…
If you’re running a few adwords campaigns then you’ll want to pay attention.
A few weeks ago I was talking to an associate (an adwords management expert named A.M Khan) about the best way to tweak an adwords campaign to lower costs, increase lead conversions, and just generally get more bang for my buck.
He suggested that I tried setting up an identical campaign to the one I was currently running with 2 key differences…
- Only target the content network (not the Google search or Partners networks – just the content network – basically sites running adsense on them).
- Only use banners inside the campaign. No text ads.
I found this advice pretty interesting, especially the banners only thing.
I was told (and had an idea anyway) that the vast majority of adwords advertisers simply don’t bother creating or testing banner ads. They’re too lazy, and sure, it does take a lot of time to create swish looking banner ads.
You first have to come up with a creative, then make around 10 different sizes / formats to cover your bases. You then want to test different creatives against each other and so on.
It’s a lot of work.
It means you need to be reasonably good with some sort of image editing software & have some time on your hands to actually sit down and do it.
The good news however is that because most people DON’T do this it means there’s a boat load of very low cost-per-click traffic available on the adsense network. There’s just not the same competition driving prices up on the “banner ad” side of things.
So it’s DEFINITELY worth looking into.
The other key point here (if you’re going to try it) is to create a stand alone campaign ONLY for your image ads.
You can use the same keyword terms as your text ad campaigns, just make sure you separate the two campaigns entirely so you get more accurate stats and are able to tweak things better.
The end result in doing this for us was that for one campaign (which we split into two as we had mixed text and image ads) we were able to HALF our cost per conversion AND DOUBLE the conversion rate.
Pretty amazing stuff really.
Anyway, this is something you’ll probably want to try. But, if you’re like me, I can get lazy when it comes to this stuff.
Sure I enjoy creating banners – seriously, I don’t actually mind getting creative – but boy does it suck up the time and MY time (and no doubt yours too) is more smartly spent doing other more productive things.
That’s why, if you’re interested in exploring this whole approach to see how it will help you, you’ll want to check out this nifty software application.
Yes, there is a price tag attached to it BUT, you’re good ol’ mate Duncan, whom I’m sure you’d love to have a beer with, has arranged a $100 off discount for you if you decide it’s going to be a wise investment decision.
This software, the “Ad Text Image Creator” essentially allows you to setup a complete banner ad specific campaign on the Adwords content network in around about 20 minutes.
You don’t need any image editing software or anything.
Point and click and it goes and creates all of the appropriately formatted banner ads for you, and even uploads them to your Adwords account.
You can even turn around and take existing text ads in your account (the high performing ones) and turn them into banners that will become accepted on the content network in literally just 10-20 minutes.
It’s VERY cool and a MASSIVE time saver.
Now I know I’m not going to do it justice by trying to explain what else it can do, so your best bet will be to watch the quick video here (that link contains your discount as well).
On a separate note, I need to point out, that whilst this software IS REALLY easy to use, I did actually get the creator, A.M Khan to get into my campaign and tweak it for me.
That’s because he also runs a dedicated service that will do it all for you (and continually monitor and tweaking things) for just $197 p/m.
That is a pretty good deal to have a qualified adwords advertising account manager looking after you.
Having said that, I should also point out that the software IS easy to use, and I have no doubt I could’ve done the setup myself in the same amount of time – it’s just the continual tweaking that I can’t be stuffed with & it is important that you do that.
So you might also want to check out A.M Kan’s team of qualified Google Adwords managers to get the same thing setup for you if you’re a bit lazy like me.

Thanks, the idea of banner with texts is very smart !
I think most people are banner blind, and miss the picture ads.
Thanks for this post now I’ve got the idea how important it is to dedicate some effort and time in creating a more presentable banner.
